How can I check an existing order's status without submitting another purchase?

Include enough relevant information for the next available responder. Avoid posting private order information publicly to attract faster attention.

How can I separate essential requirements from preferences before shopping?

Consider who will actually use or receive the purchase. Distinguish a personal preference from a documented limitation.
